How should I prepare for the installation?

We will move the big stuff (sofas, coffee tables, nightstands, beds, dressers, etc.). You’re responsible for clearing the small items on your furniture and emptying the closets. Please don’t empty your belongings onto the bed as we may have to move that as well. If we need to move appliances, please make sure that you’ve disconnected plumbing and/or electrical connections beforehand.

How long will it take to install my products after they've been ordered?

The length of the project will vary according to the material you’ve chosen. For in-stock material, installation can be completed in as early as two weeks after the signing of the contract. For special orders, the process will take longer. Your Sales Associate will let you know your specific timing based on what you’ve selected.

Who will contact me to schedule the installation?

As soon as we’ve received all the materials needed to complete your project, an Installation Manager will call you to schedule the installation.

How much will the installation cost?

The installation cost varies based on products you select and the scope of your project. One of our Estimators will visit the site to review the specifics of your job and then provide a final project cost, including material and labor.

Who do I contact if I have questions about the installation?

You can contact our Installation Department directly with questions related to the installation. They’re the experts and will help you through the process. Your Sales Associate will provide you with their contact information.

Who will be installing the product?

Avalon Flooring installations are completed by insured sub-contractors who understand the latest installation methods for all our products. The Installer will call you when they are on the way to the site.

What is my role during the installation?

After arriving at the site, the Installer will review the job details with you. We’ll also ask you to verify the materials you ordered before we start the project. If any questions arise during installation, we’ll call you by phone or ask you directly if you’re on site. Once the installers complete your project they will ask you to review it with them to make sure all work is completed to your satisfaction.

When can I use the space after the installation?

The Estimator will advise you based on your selection.

How should I maintain the product after installation?

Avalon will provide you with a maintenance and warranty guide for your specific product.

What do I do if I have issues with my product after installation?

Avalon Flooring warrants all residential labor for period of 3 (three) years from the date of installation. For any questions regarding your warranty, please contact our Customer Support team by phone (856-644-5700) or email [email protected].
