Ceramic & Porcelain Tile Flooring

Ceramic and porcelain are both durable and attractive flooring options but do offer a few differences that you should know about before choosing the right tile for your space. Both are manufactured similarly using baked clays, so it is primarily the strength and density of the tiles that separates the two. Porcelain is fired at higher temperatures and has to undergo a few extra steps than ceramic, PLUS it then has to be certified as being porcelain. So it really comes down to your preferences and priorities when choosing between the two.
